The Museum Electropolis Documentary Library
The Museum's documentary centre has more than 3000 works, of which 300 date prior to 1918.
 
The Electropolis Museum library has works of reference, dictionaries and scientific works for the general public from the 18th and 19th centuries (The electricity of bodies, by Abbé Nollet, 1745 ; Encyclopaedic Dictionary of Industry and Industrial Art, 1891). Specialised scientific periodicals from the 19th century, in French, English and German : The Electric Light (1879-1982), Nature (1874-1934), The Loudspeaker, Science and Life (since 1913).

Iconography source : prints from the 19th century, photographs, posters, advertising blotters...
The multimedia library has video cassettes, audio cassettes tapes, CD-Roms, CD-photos, films in 35mm, 16mm, 8mm, 9,5mm on the theme of the Museum. Documentation in the Museum is computerised. Researchers are welcomed by appointment.
