- The Museum's documentary centre has more
than 3000 works, of which 300 date prior to 1918.

- The Electropolis Museum library has works of
reference, dictionaries and scientific works for the general public
from the 18th and 19th centuries (The electricity of bodies, by Abbé
Nollet, 1745 ; Encyclopaedic Dictionary of Industry and Industrial
Art, 1891). Specialised scientific periodicals from the 19th century,
in French, English and German : The Electric Light (1879-1982), Nature
(1874-1934), The Loudspeaker, Science and Life (since 1913).

- Iconography source : prints from the
19th century, photographs, posters, advertising blotters...

- The multimedia library has video cassettes,
audio cassettes tapes, CD-Roms, CD-photos, films in 35mm, 16mm, 8mm,
9,5mm on the theme of the Museum. Documentation in the Museum is computerised.
Researchers are welcomed by appointment.
